Request Your QuotePrinting technologies
Three printing processes, selected by substrate, colour count and contract volume.
Offset Printing
Offset lithographic printing on paper substrates, up to 8 colours, CMYK plus spot colours. It holds fine text, smooth gradients and photographic detail, and is the process used for paper cups, bowls, bags and trays.
Flexographic Printing
Flexographic printing runs at higher speed on long production volumes. It is specified for solid colour areas, logos and repeating patterns that have to read the same across a full contract run.
In-Mold Labeling (IML)
IML fuses a pre-printed label into the cup wall during moulding, so the decoration is part of the wall rather than applied to it. Production is 30-45 working days including mould making; MOQ starts at 20,000 pcs.
Finishing options
Six finishing options for paper substrates, specified per SKU at specification review.
Matte Lamination
Matte film over the printed surface, anti-glare
Glossy Varnish
High-gloss varnish across the printed area
Soft-Touch Coating
Textured coating with a matte, low-slip surface
Embossing
Raised relief on logos and text, applied to a die
Spot UV
High-gloss UV coating on selected design elements
Metallic Foil
Hot-stamped gold or silver foil on selected areas
Pantone colour matching and proofing
Artwork is prepared and supplied by the brand owner, print-ready. On that file we apply Pantone colour matching, then digital proofing and a physical sample for approval before production. Samples take 7-14 working days.
